Short-Term Accommodation & Assistance and Getaways (STA/Respite)

Short-Term Accommodation & Assistance and Getaways (STA/Respite)

Short-term accommodation and assistance (STA) is an NDIS support previously known as respite.

Our STA service supports people with disability to have a short stay away from their usual home, while providing planned respite for families caring for a person with disability. Our service is flexible and designed to be responsive to each family’s circumstances.

When it comes to STA, flexibility is our focus. Clients can choose to tap into our STA service for a few hours a week , use STA funding to plan for a holiday, arrange for our trained staff to support them at home* or even plan a break with one of our ‘Getaway Programs’. No matter the plan, our goal is to accommodate your needs.

Overnight

A break or change in routine is important for our clients and their families. During an STA stay, our clients can enjoy a getaway, or get out and about to explore Ժ and it’s happenings.

Prior to staying, we work with our clients and their person of choice to plan activities and experiences that meet the individual needs and preferences of our guests. Our staff will also plan to make sure all support needs are met, including:
